Charlotte Enström has, in different techniques, focused on the representation of the female. In her works she re-uses forms and fragments of images from illustrations and advertisements in fashion magazines. The fragments are easily recognisable objects of both desire and anxiety.

At Index, Charlotte Enström presents a new work, a wall drawing, which creates an effect similar to 3D by the use of several layers of thin green and red lines. The result is an image which is hard to focus on, lending the desirable objects a disturbing sense of uneasiness.
